Behind the song

I first started writing this song back in March 2020, right as the world was going into lockdown.

It was originally called Echoes and featured my own vocals and lyrics. I premiered that early version on a small radio show at work, and it actually got a lot of love. Still, I wasn’t fully confident with the vocals, so I let it sit on the hard drive while I wrapped up Just a Memory.

I came back to it in July 2022 with a fresh perspective, and finished it shortly after in August.
