Behind the song

You and I came together in the fall of 2018, and fun fact—I played the guitar on it even though I don’t know how to play.


It’s inspired by the nostalgia of growing up with my brother. Everything we did, we did together—learning how to ride a bike, tagging along on fishing trips, or just me being the classic annoying little brother. All of it shaped who I am.


This one’s a thank you to him, but also a reminder to anyone listening of those happy memories you’ve shared with the people you love.
